What Does the CC-LINK Series Do?
The CC-LINK series provides wireless camera control and IP data connectivity. These systems replace the control cable between the RCP and the camera, giving the shader wireless access to iris, gain, white balance, colour matrix, and tally. They do not carry any video signal.
CC-LINK IP
A wireless IP data bridge with dual LAN (RJ45) connectivity. It carries IP data at up to 150 Mbps over distances up to 1 km line-of-sight, secured by WPA2 encryption. Use it when you need a wireless network link between two points — for IP-based camera control, data transfer, or any LAN application that needs to go wireless.

Choose CC-LINK when your production already has cabled video (triax, fibre, or SMPTE hybrid) and you only need wireless camera control. This is common on OB productions where the camera cable carries video and return feeds, but the shader needs wireless access to cameras at positions where running a separate control cable is impractical. CC-LINK gives you up to 1 km of wireless control range at a lower hire cost than a full video system. When Should You Choose FLEX Over CC-LINK?
Choose FLEX when you need the video signal to go wireless — either because cabling is impractical, the camera needs full freedom of movement, or you want to eliminate cable runs entirely. FLEX replaces both the video cable and the control cable with a single wireless link. The additional cost over CC-LINK reflects the fact that you are getting broadcast-grade video transmission with sub-1 ms latency alongside the control functions.
Can You Use CC-LINK and FLEX Together?
Yes. Some productions use CC-LINK for dedicated camera control on certain positions (where video is already cabled) and FLEX for combined video and control on others (where the camera needs to be fully wireless).
